Cool Job Opening - Photo Editor for NFL

The NFL Digital Media Group is seeking a part-time Photo Editor to recognize, select, and edit photos for NFL.com.

Job Responsibilities:
•Plan, research, assign, edit, and secure photographs for publishing on NFL.com
•Request and license stock photography from various sources
•Review images to confirm technical specifications for publication and to
confirm accurate caption and credit information
•Maintain electronic databases for tracking photo costs and photographic
material
•Provide support to event coverage and photo projects for NFL.com
•Direct and manage photo shoots and major photo projects
•2-4 years experience of photo editing, preferably in sports industry and for
internet sites
•Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in photography, visual design or equivalent
preferred
•Proficiency in design, layout, and production skills in Photoshop, Illustrator,
and working knowledge of Flash
•Proficiency in MS Office
•Knowledge of sports photography, sports photographers and sports photo agencies
•Knowledge of digital imaging, digital photography, and transmission
•Ability to work on large projects independently
•Familiarity with photographic rights and licensing/copyright practices
preferred
