Communications & Trafficking Manager

Summary

Plans and conducts public relations and marketing programs designed to create and maintain favorable public image for CEO and business units. Develops and coordinates production of promotional marketing materials by performing the following duties.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities- include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Creates a PR and marketing plan, long-and short-term strategy, pricing policy, and budget for all business units.

- Plans and directs development and communication of information designed to keep public informed of employer’s programs, accomplishments, or point of view.

- Arranges for public relations effort in order to meet needs, objectives, and policies of the CEO and business units.

- Maintain media log of all company articles.

- Create and maintain graphic standards manual designed to create use for public presentation.

- Prepares and distributes fact sheets, news releases, photographs, press kits, video tapes, or audio recordings to media representatives and other persons who may be interested in learning about or publicizing employer’s activities or message.

- Writes speeches and talking points for executive personnel.

- Represents employer during community projects and at public, social, and business gatherings.

- Develops messaging points for strategic plan.

- Works with department heads to plan advertising, purchasing incentives, and promotional communications projects, including print, electronic, special events, point of purchase, and direct mail, to fulfill those aspects of the marketing plan for business units.

- Serves as liaison with outside consultants, copywriters, and advertising agencies.

- Correlates compatibility of promotional programs with public relations activities.
